Pakistan's Dirty Work From Bangladesh To Balochistan

The Pakistani state is violating the international laws since her creation on 14 th august 1947. The Pakistan first started violating the international norms by the military aggression and forcefull occupation of the soverign state of the Balochistan on 27 th march 1948. The Baloch nation is fighting the illegal Pakistani occupation of the Balochistan from day first. The Pakistani state couldn’t make fool international community any longer by crying a foreign hand in Balochistan.Hang on a second! Pakistan first should explain her illegal presence in Balochistan? This is not a first time in the history that Balochs are resisting foreign invaders. Baloch had fought the Portugueese, Mongols, the British and even the Alexander the great but there was no such blames of any foreign involvement in Balochistan, but the Pakistan is trying to legitimize the genocide of the Baloch nation by labeling it as a foreign funded insurgency. The Pakistani occupiers should understand one thing that “ Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth”. In 1971 the Pakistani army and its paramilitary arm groups the Albadr and Alshams killed three millions Bengali civilians selectively Students, Professors, Doctors, Engineers and many other intellectuals. Now in Balochistan the Pakistani army and its paramilitary arm groups the Musalah Difah, Sipah-e-Shuda, Ansar-ul-Islam killing the Baloch students, professors, Doctor, Engineers,Journalists,Human right defenders and intellectuals. The Pakistani military,FC,ISI,MI abducted morethan 8 ,000 Baloch from all over Balochistan including 168 women , children and now killing them one by one and throwing their tortured bullet riddled dead bodies in the roadsides, mountains and deserts. The Pakistani terrorist military killed about 210 Baloch youths under custody in last few months. 1- Violence against women: The Numbers of Bengali women were tortured, raped and killed by the Pakistani forces during the war. Bangladeshi sources cite a figure of 200 ,000 women raped, giving birth to thousands of war-babies. The Pakistan Army also kept numerous Bengali women as sex- slaves inside the Dhaka Cantonment. Most of the girls were captured from Dhaka University and private homes. The Pakistani forces are repeating the same crimes against the Baloch women in Balochistan. The occupying forces abducted 168 Baloch women and kept in secret cells and their whereabouts are unknown from several years.A Baloch sister Ms. Zarina Marri, a 23- year-old school teacher from Balochistan , who has been held incommunicado in an army torture cell at Karachi, the capital of Sindh province and used as a sex slave which is also mentioned by the Asian Human Right Commission in one of their report. There are 100 ’s of other Baloch sisters who are missing after military operations in Balochistan, they are definitely held by the Pakistani military like the Zarina Marri. The Pakistani forces acid attack on Baloch girls in Kalat,Dalbandin,Noshki towns, and warn to attack Baloch women in future if they will come out of the houses. The Baloch women are playing vital role in the Baloch freedom struggle and Pakistan is too much afraid of their active role and that’s the only reason Pakistani forces attacking Baloch women. 2- Violence against minorities: The minorities of Bangladesh, especially the Hindus, were specific targets of the Pakistan army. More than 60 % of the Bengali refugees who fled to India were Hindus. In Balochistan the Pakistani forces are killing and abducting Hindus. More than two dozen Hindu families in Balochistan have sought political asylum in India after an increase in cases of kidnapping for ransom and target killings of the members of their community in Balochistan. The Baloch are protecting the minorities in Balochistan from several hundred years and the Hindus holy worship places like Hinglaj Mata temple on the Makran coast and Kali Kalat temple in Kalat are protected by the secular Baloch nation from the ISI which supports and promotes extremist groups like Taliban, Lashkar-e-Tayaba,Sipah-e-Sahaba. 3- Violence against students:The Dhaka University was the center of the Bangladesh independence movement. The Dhaka University students greatly contributed to the liberation of Bangladesh. In March of 1971 the Pakistani Armed Forces chief General Yahya Khan and the politician Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, launched Operation Searchlight to demolish the independence demand of Bengalis. The Pakistani army convoy attacked the Dhaka University on 25 March, 1971 with heavy weapons such as tanks, automatic rifles, rocket launchers, heavy mortar, light machine gun, around 300 students were killed and hundreds injured. The Pakistani para military force Frontier Core (FC) attack on the Khuzdar Engineering University during a Balochi cultural day celebration by hand grenades on 2 nd march 2010 resulted two Baloch students killed and morethan two dozens badly injured. The (BSO-A) Baloch Student Organisation Azaad organized an event at High School Tump in memory of the Baloch freedom fighter Shaheed Meerjan Meeral who was killed by the Pakistani forces. The Pakistani forces attacked the High school Tump on 6 th September 2009 during the event where hundreds of students were gathered to pay their rich tributes to the martyr freedom fighter.Pakistani forces rushed into the school premises and started firing on the participants of the event. Tear gasses were fired on the crowd and the participants were beaten badly by the forces, where young children and women were also victimized. The young Baloch student Mukhtar Baloch was killed and about 24 students critically injured. The Univeristy of the Balochistan ( UOB) looks like the military cantonment than any university as dozens of the army vehicles are stationed in the premises with 100 ’ s of the army personnels. The many students have been abducted from the university hostel ,some found dead while others are still missing. The high number of the Pakistan’s military in ‘UOB’ indicates the Dhaka university style massacre in the coming days. The extra judicial killings and abductions of the Baloch youths turned faster after the press conference of the Pakistan’s interior minister Rehman Malik during a visit in the Balochistan’s capital city of Quetta. Rehman Malik, has threatened to take action against the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) using brute force to “crush” those outfits. The human right situation of the Balochistan turned to the worse after Rehman Malik’s visit. The hundreds more Baloch youths abducted including students, political activists, journalists, teachers, human right activists and all of them tortured to the death in the military custody,so far 210 bullet riddled bodies of the youths found from different parts of Balochistan ,while the fate of 1000 ’s other still not known. But the abductions are still continue and everyday tortured dead bodies are appearing from the deserts , mountains of the Balochistan. The most of the mutilated bodies are beyond any recognition as the corpses are several months old and in some cases few bodies found from the mass graves. In one of the such case the dead bodies of the Dr. Agha Abid Shah, a former vice chairman of the Baloch Students Organization Azaad (BSO- A), Abdul Sattar Baloch, a government school teacher and Safeer Baloch a political activist all were found from a mass grave. There are high chances that more mass graves would appear in future as the Pakistani military has abducted thousands of the Baloch. The all of the victims were abducted by the Pakistani forces in the presence of eye witnesses but the Pakistani government keep denying the fact by alleging the foreign agencies like RAW and other forces are wearing the Pakistan’s military uniform are behind the abductions and killings of the Baloch youths, but no one is fool enough to buy the lies of the Pakistani state.Let assume it for a second if the foreign forces are behind all such incidents of abductions and killings of the Baloch activists , like in the case of Abdul Rehman Arif and Mehboob Wadhela who were abducted from Karachi and held several months in custody and their tortured dead bodies recovered from the coastal town of the Ormara ,just few steps away from the ‘’Jinnah Naval Base’ ’some 240 kilometers away from the Karachi. In the case of Faiz Mohammad Marri and Arif Noor, they were too abducted from their houses in Karachi. The body of the Arif Noor recovered from Windar town of Balochistan about 125 kilometers away from Karachi while the body of the Faiz Mohammad Marri found from the Quetta about 592 kilometers away from the Karachi. If really the foreign forces are behind the abductions of the Baloch youths and roaming freely around the country then what is the credibility of the Pakistani forces??? isn’t a big failure of the already failed state??? The Osama Bin Laden was living for several years under the nose of the Pakistan’s military next to the one of the biggest military academy in Abbotabad, but the Pakistani Army,ISI keep saying that they were not aware of the Osama presence in a military town. The COAS Ashfaq Kayani ,ISI chief Shuja Pasha,IGFC Obaid Khattak and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik listen you guys are not smart enough to hide your committed crimes in Balochistan by nominating the outside forces in the genocide of the Baloch nation without any prove. According to the Pakistani government that the Military uniform is available in the market , the outside forces are buying , wearing and roaming across the country and defaming the already defamed Pakistani military. So what do you think the Pakistani nukes are safe?? Don’t you think the Talibans and Alqaida’s members have also an opportunity to buy and wear the Pakistan military uniforms ,steal the nukes and disappear without any clue. The Pakistan's nukes should be fully dismantle before this world turn into real hell .The United Nation, European Union, International Criminal Court,International Human Right Groups ,International print and electronic media should immediately play their due role to pressurize the Pakistani state to stop violating the international laws and also make her accountable for committed crimes in Balochistan .Dont give another chance to the Pakistani military to kill three million more in Balochistan like they did in Bangladesh.

Indian Army Deployed In The Maoist Heartland

More than 500 Indian soldiers have landed last week in the central state of Chhattisgarh, the nerve centre of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist).    The government said the troops will be trained in guerrilla jungle warfare. More troops will be coming in phases at the training centre on 750 sq km in the forested area, about 300 km away from the state capital Raipur. Retired Brigadier BK Ponwar, director of the Counter Terrorism and Jungle Warfare College, said the soldiers have stepped into the Maoist territory only for jungle warfare training, not for anti- Maoist operation. "Maoists will feel the heat of the army's entry in their terrain because the insurgents will have a feeling all the time that tigers have been positioned just outside their den."    No immediate reaction of the Maoist was available on the presence of the Army in its citadel. Many doubt the necessity of soldiers undergoing training in jungle guerrilla warfare. It is likely that the army after training in jungle war will be deployed to root out the Maoist menace. About 2.5 lakh paramilitary forces had been deployed three years ago to combat the Maoists. It was said the Operation Green Hunt was launched with the target of ending the insurgency in two years. But the Maoist movement is now escalated to 20 out of 28 states of India with more and more encounters and casualties. Maoists have acquired sophisticated weapons including AK-47 rifles and rocket launchers.    Police intelligence reports said Maoists have advanced their strategy with formation of Golden Corridor Control Committee in different areas - create bases in urban areas, industrial belts. They have now sleeper cells in such areas. Suspected Maoist activists are mostly students. Yashwant Sumant, professor of Pune University observed that a fairly large section of urban youths finds politico-economic system stifling. Political authority is concentrated in the hands of few families. They are turning Maoist sympathizers.    The presence of Army in the Maoist heartland has given a moral boost to the demoralized paramilitary forces. They have reportedly prepared for a large- scale operation against the red rebels, especially in forest areas of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and adjoining states.         Ceasefire in W. Bengal    In West Bengal, Maoists have decided to declare a ceasefire in the state. State Committee member Bikram in a statement on June 4 said the ceasefire is to give Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee time to fulfil her election pledges, including withdrawal of joint forces and release of tribe members arrested for their suspected involvement in the Maoist movement. He said they are also ready for talks with the government and will not attack security forces for the time being. " But their soft stand will not continue for an indefinite period."    In fact, there was no report of clash between the Maoists and paramilitary forces since Mamta Banerjee assumed power in the state. But withdrawal of paramilitary forces from the state will be tough challenge for Mamata Benarjee as central Home Minister P Chidambaram strongly opposed the idea. If she fails, the well entranced Maoists in the forest areas of West Midnapore are likely to turn the guns to her party Trinamul Congress.    Intelligence officials in the state claim that the Maoists decision of ceasefire is intended to regrouping themselves and motivate the rebels. Koteshwar Rao alias Kishenji, in-charge of the Maoists in West Bengal is believed to be visiting northeast states (seven sisters) to coordinate the movement with the insurgents groups of Assam, Nagaland and Monipur.

U.S. Urged To Help Resolve Burmese Refugee Situation In Bangladesh

Bangladesh has formally requested the United States to exert diplomatic pressure on Myanmar to repatriate thousands of ethnic Muslim Rohingya languishing in refugee camps, a breeding ground of Islamic extremism and human trafficking. Food and disaster management minister Abdur Razzaque briefed journalists on Thursday after holding a meeting in Dhaka with visiting U.S. assistant secretary of state for population, refugees and migration Eric Schwartz. Dhaka requests Washington open consultations with Burma (now Myanmar) for the repatriation of some 300 ,000 documented and undocumented Rohingya refugees. The Burmese Muslims are housed in three camps near Cox’s Bazaar, the sea beach resort bordering Burma in the south-east. The camps are run by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees with support from international aid agencies. Schwartz categorically told Bangladeshi leaders that the solution to the repatriation of Rohingya refugees lies primarily with Bangladesh in encouraging Myanmar to move forward. The Bangladeshi minister instead insists that  the U.S. should exert pressure on the military junta for the repatriation of refugees. “We are already socially and economically burdened after hosting these refugees on humanitarian ground for so many years,” Razzaque told reporters. The visiting U.S. assistant secretary of state requested Bangladeshi authorities register the undocumented refugees as well. He said that the refugees are a political headache for the region, as well as for United States in the war on terror, adding that the camps are a breeding ground for Islamic militant recruits. Unless there is a change in the political situation in Myanmar, the United States will continue to support Bangladesh in sheltering the Rohingya refugees. Schwartz expressed concern over scarce food rations, inadequate shelter and poor healthcare facilities for the refugees who began entering Bangladesh in 1991 when the Myanmar junta drove away ethnic Muslims from the southern state of Rakhaine. Recognizing the issue as a humanitarian disaster, Schwartz said the regime in Myanmar systematically denies human rights and human freedom of the Rohingya and also of pro- democracy Burmese. An estimated 236 ,000 out of over 250 ,000 Rohingya refugees have returned to Myanmar in the early 1990 s, but persistent political persecution in their country have forced them again to take shelter in neighboring Bangladesh. The process for refugee repatriation was halted for years because of the reluctance of military authority in Myanmar.

Saffron Attack On India's Corruption

With the Indian government facing political challenge for mid-term polls, the people are increasingly rallying with the anti-corruption movement which is gradually taking a saffron colour.    India is currently rattled by widespread corruption. The people of India view with suspicion and apprehension the entire political class, which they want to recover the Indian money stashed away abroad through corruption. In fact the political class is the suspect today in the eyes of common people of India.         Illicit assets    The Washington-based Global financial Integrity - a non-profit research organization - working in the area of Tax Havens, has estimated for India that the present value of illegal financial flows held abroad is $500 billions. This means that almost three- quarters of the illicit assets comprising India's underground economy-which has been estimated to account for 50 per cent of India's GDP (approximately $640 billion at the end of 2008)- ends up outside of the country.    In January-2011 the Supreme Court of India called the shameful phenomenon of Indian funds kept illegally abroad as "theft" and " plunder" and not treat it as merely tax avoidance. It also demanded an "action taken" report on all " faceless" Indians who had moved their ill-gotten money overseas.    According to a recent survey conducted by consulting firm, KPMG, some industries tend to have relatively higher instances of bribery and corruption than others, primarily due to the link they have with multiple parties-both in the government as well as private realm.         Reluctance    The leaders of the Congress which leads the UPA earlier denied the existence of such huge amount of illicit Indian wealth abroad; then they reluctantly accepted that fact which was becoming undeniable.    The well-known and well- publicized instances of the existence of illegal Indian monies abroad - like the Hasan Ali case, Quattrocchi issue, the Lichtenstein Bank disclosures and the alleged secret Swiss bank accounts in the name of the family of the Congress President and the Chairperson of the UPA and National Advisory Council of the UPA government have not only not been pursued, the government of the day is shamefully burying them to the view of the entire nation. In the period 2010-2011 , India witnessed various scandals being blown apart by the media, whistle-blowers, civil society activists and government investigation agencies alike. Scams like 2 G spectrum scam, Adarsh Housing Society Scam, Commonwealth Games scam and many more brought about names of various cabinet ministers, chief ministers and even members of the Armed Forces.    This showed how deeply entrenched corruption has become in India. It has led to a more expansive civil society movement that wishes to fight graft with the strictest of laws and penalties.    In March 2011 , India Against Corruption (IAC), a people's movement launched a campaign demanding comprehensive reforms of anti-corruption systems in India. It sent an open letter to PM Manmohan Singh and Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for a CBI probe as recommended by central government committee into " irregularities in the forest department", and into the harassment of IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi.    In April 2011 , Anna Hazare, a Gandian veteran gave a call to the nation to press the government for the enactment of Jana LokPal bill.    The protests led to the creation of an unprecedented movement that saw protests being organised in various cities and towns of India. Protests included fasts, candlelight vigils and rallies.    Several political parties have come to support the movement for Jan Lokpal Bill. Political leaders from different parties - Sudhakar Reddy, A B Bardhan, Abani Roy ( left front), H D Devegowda (JDS) Mysora Reddy (TDP) and Jayant Chowdhry (RLD) signed a joint statement indicating their support to the movement.         A saffronite move    The BJP and RSS have taken the move supported by non-Congress opposition parties, thus making it a political move, which Government wanted to make to mild the intensity of a serious issue like corruption widely prevalent in Indian system of governance, judiciary and executive.    Soon the Indian Yoga Guru Ramdev joined the move against corruption. Delhi police last week evicted Ramdev and his supporters from New Delhi Ramlila ground where they began a "satyagraha" against corruption.    According to Ramdev, Indian legal and educational systems, were imposed on by the British. So he wants to take out English subject form all schools in India. On Sunday, Ramdev was bundled out of Delhi and airlifted to BJP ruled Uttarakhand capital Dehradun from where he reached to his headquarter in Haridwar.    Ramdev accused the police of indulging in "brutalities" against his peaceful followers, especially women and children, and called it a "big blot" on the government.    Angry at the disruption of his hunger strike, Baba Ramdev lashed out at the government and targeted Sonia Gandhi over the " police barbarism" on his supporters while threatening a nationwide agitation.    Meanwhile, taking suo motu cognisance of forceful eviction of yoga guru Baba Ramdev and his followers from the Ramlila grounds, the Supreme Court on Monday sought the Centre's response to the incident.    A vacation bench of justices B S Chauhan and Swatenter Kumar issued notices to the Union home secretary, chief secretary of Delhi, Delhi administration, and Delhi police commissioner asking them to respond within two weeks. The court posted the matter for hearing in the second week of July.    With the government decision drawing flak, Congress leadership met at the Prime Minister's residence which was attended by Sonia Gandhi and senior cabinet ministers.    Manmohan Singh government's high-risk move in evicting Baba Ramdev from Delhi has brought together rival factions of civil society, besides exposing the Centre and Congress leadership to sharp attacks from political opponents.    The Hazare group also endorsed Ramdev's demand for an ordinance to declare Indian funds illegally stashed abroad as national asset and to provide for means to bring the money back. Even Aruna Roy, member of the Sonia Gandhi-led National Advisory Council who had publicly expressed reservations about civil society's anti-corruption agitation, joined the chorus of condemnation.    On Monday, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh's residence in Bhupal was pelted with stones by some unidentified people who also shouted slogans in favour of yoga guru Baba Ramdev.    The incident is being seen as the outcome of Digvijay Singh's remarks against Ramdev whom he had termed a "thug" on Sunday morning after Delhi police's crackdown on the at Ramlila ground in New Delhi. Digvijay Singh has twice been Madhya Pradesh chief minister, Pradesh Congress leader J.P. Dhanopia claimed the people who pelted stones were affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS), Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and allied groups.    Supporting government actions against Ramdev, the Congress leaders say that the whole 'Anshan' was politically motivated and he is the unofficial face of BJP & RSS trying to malign the Congress-led UPA government.
